Working with the Technology Partner to identify the targeted EMV Profiles which are common in the industry, Entrust Datacard will develop, test, and validate data preparation and personalization capability using the technical specification of components of the EMV product including:
- Technical specifications of each card
- Personalization specifications
- Payment applications
- Standard EMV profiles
Entrust Datacard conducts regression testing with each new release of the EMV Data Prep and Perso software providing security of the profile published as part of the Adaptive Issuance ™ EMV Library. The Entrust Datacard™ Adaptive Issuance™ EMV Library is a collection of EMV card and EMV profile configurations that have been validated by Entrust Datacard and available to issuers who will contact Card Validation Program Track partners directly about business opportunities. Please see the Release Notes for more detailed information.
In the same manner, EMV chip vendors are able to participate in the Entrust Datacard Technology Alliance Card Validation Program track and their solutions may be validated by Entrust Datacard. As the first point in the EMV ecosystem, chip vendors have their EMV chips qualified with payment apps providing card manufacturers development efficiencies and are listed in our Entrust Datacard ECV Chip Vendor Partners document. Please see the Release Notes for more detailed information.
