KuppingerCole's comprehensive Leadership Compass compares 21 vendors across several criteria, reflecting varieties of use cases, experiences, business rules, and technical capabilities required by KuppingerCole clients, and anticipated needs for the future. The evaluation model included:

Consumer Authentication Leadership Compass Report Overall Leader

Entrust Datacard was cited as the Overall Leader, in part, for its "excellent history of providing high-security solutions," such as IntelliTrust™ and IdentityGuard. The report found that Entrust Datacard "leads the pack" in the Overall Leader category, and was identified as an industry leader in the Product Leadership, Innovation Leadership and Market Leadership categories.
